FIELDHOUSE OF MY BRAIN

Ginn Jr.’s return the best ever?

November 2, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Lost to those who didn’t see the Miami Dolphins defeat the New York Jets on Sunday was the amazing performance given by Dolphins receiver Ted Ginn.

Dude returned two kickoffs for a touchdown. TWO. In the same quarter. The second of which may be the most juke-filled return I’ve ever seen since Barry Sanders was returning kicks at Oklahoma State.

Watch video of both here.

I can’t believe what he does in the second return — all those backward steps — before outrunning the last defender.

Oh, and I took him out of my fantasy league starting lineup because he had been underperforming. I thought I’d give someone else (Jeremy Maclin) a go. Stupid.
